Welcome to our Discipleship Training Course. Your interest in discipleship training is important to us. We were motivated to develop this training from Acts 14:21-22 where Paul was “strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith.” We hope that Discipleship Training will be an encouragement to “continue in the faith.” We also want to equip you with Scriptural materials to disciple others in the faith. “For the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11)
The Greek word for disciple is mathetes (a learner), thus a disciple is one who follows the teachings of another. Jesus had twelve disciples who followed His teachings as recorded in (Matthew 10:1), and His command to His disciples before leaving the earth was to go and “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-20).
Later Paul carried out Jesus’ command through missionary evangelism. (Acts 14:21-23) Peter taught the need for discipleship training in (1 Peter 2:2) – “Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.” Peter also taught that the goal of discipleship training was to “grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18).
With that goal in mind we have provided you with four study courses that will guide you through the steps of becoming a more mature and an even greater spiritually effective disciple of Jesus Christ.
It is not required, but we encourage you to register, receive your “Student ID” and interact with one of our advisors as you process and complete each lesson of the courses listed below. Discipleship 101: An Interactive Bible Study on the Promises of God, those assurances that every child of God needs to hear, understand , believe and apply in their daily walk IN Christ.
Discipleship 201: The equipping and training of the Christian Warrior. What exactly is the full armor of God and how does a believer in the Grace Gospel of Jesus Christ put it on? What training is involved in learning how to use both the offensive and defensive weapons God has provided His every Child?
Discipleship 301: Now, having equipped yourself with the pertinent Truth of God’s Word and having put it into practice, what about your Ambassadorship duties, responsibilities and privileges? As a Christian you carry the full authority of the King of Kings and the responsibility to make known His Grace Gospel to the world. Just what do those two doctrines entail?
By this time you aught “to be teachers of men”, having a clear understanding of who and what you are IN Christ Jesus and experienced in accessing and applying the resources that God has provided for you to be victorious in your everyday life.
Discipleship 401: If you are still hungry for understanding and the further development of your own personal spiritual growth we have provided you with an “Advanced Training Course" of studies.
Once again, we welcome you to our Discipleship Training Course of studies and encourage you to register and receive your Student ID so that you can report and manage your own progress throughout your studies. ALL information submitted will be held private and will not be shared. May God richly bless you and yours. (2 Peter 3:18)

This is Pastor Ron Adema. "Let me give you one example that comes to mind about how Bible teaching changed our way of dealing with marital questions and problems. We were struggling with finances, time management, being married with two children, going to college, working and all the things that go along with marriage. I was offered a great traveling job, which was a wonderful opportunity for my career and our finances. However, it kept me away from home and from involvement in rearing our children, which eventually grew from two to four" WHAT TO DO?
